Clearwater Offers ("we," "us," or "our") respects your privacy. This Policy covers what we collect when you use our site or request a cash offer, how we use it, who we share it with, and what rights you have. Using our site or sending us a form means you agree to this Policy.

Information pulled from public records

  • Ownership records, tax records, recorded liens, parcel and plat data, prior sales, permits, and other public data we use to value the property

Basic technical information

  • IP address, device and browser type, pages visited, referring URL, and similar log data picked up through standard web analytics

We do not ask for your Social Security number, bank account details, or other financial account information. Don't send any of that through the website.

2. How We Use Your Information

  • Research your property, build a cash offer, and send it over
  • Reach you about your request by phone, text, or email
  • Coordinate closing with a title or escrow company if you accept
  • Follow applicable laws, respond to legal process, and enforce our agreements
  • Make our website and service better
  • Prevent, detect, and investigate fraud or misuse

3. Communications Consent (TCPA)

When you send our form and check the consent box, you agree that Clearwater Offers can contact you about your property. That includes autodialed or pre-recorded calls and texts at the phone number you give us. Consent isn't a condition of any purchase or service. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply.

Stop texts any time by replying STOP to any message we send. Stop marketing emails by clicking the unsubscribe link in the email. To get pulled off our call, text, and email lists entirely, email privacy@clearwateroffers.com with the phone number and email you want removed. We handle opt-out requests within ten (10) business days.

4. How We Share Information

We don't sell your personal information. We share it only when needed to do the work or when the law requires it:

  • Title and closing agents. Once you accept an offer, we pass the information needed to close to the title or escrow company.
  • Service providers. We use vendors for hosting, email, SMS, analytics, call routing, and similar work. They're bound by confidentiality and can only use your information to do work for us.
  • Legal. We may release information to respond to a subpoena, court order, or other legal process, or to protect our rights or the safety of others.
  • Business transfers. If we go through a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may transfer as part of the deal.

5. Do Not Call and Opt-Out

Opt out of calls, texts, or emails any time:

  • Reply STOP to any text message
  • Click unsubscribe in any marketing email
  • Ask to be removed during any phone call
  • Email privacy@clearwateroffers.com for a full removal

Opt-out requests get processed within ten (10) business days. After that, you shouldn't get further marketing contact from us. We may still reach out about a transaction already in motion.

6. Data Retention

We hold your information only as long as we need it for the reasons above, to meet legal, tax, and accounting obligations, and to resolve disputes. Retention runs from a few months for form submissions that don't lead to a deal, up to several years for closed transactions, per applicable law.

7. Your Rights

Depending on your state, you may have rights under laws like the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) and similar state privacy laws, including the right to:

  • Know what personal information we have on you
  • Request a copy of it
  • Request that we delete it
  • Correct anything inaccurate
  • Opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information (we don't sell)
  • Not be treated differently for using these rights

8. Children

Our site is built for adults. We don't knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16. If you think a minor sent us information, let us know and we'll delete it.
